Microsoft enthusiasts stuck with windows 8 will be glad to hear that Windows 9 is in production and should be released within the near future! After the failure that is Windows bastard child, 8, Microsoft has decided to launch a new OS. However instead of Windows “9” it will be released as just “Windows”. This is very confusing, why not continue with the numbers? 7, 8, 8.1, and now not 9? This is due to the fact that Microsoft will not release any new Windows versions every year or so, they will focus on bringing new features and making the OS as productive and efficiently optimized as possible. Which is good news! No more failure OS’s too hyped for their own good. However if they make these updates mandatory than people might not want to have to relearn were their files are and how to use their computers every few months. But that’s only if they change UI’s and other Graphical interfaces. Besides all the speculation Windows 9 or Windows should be the next level of Windows and Microsoft Love. As all this is obviously under alot of change and mostly speculation it will definitely be something to keep an eye on for the future of your computer and Operating system upgrade.
Google Fiber, The Next Level of Internet
Google Fiber was originally released in the public eye back in 2012 and now it spans a whole three states in the U.S. Austin Texas, Provo Utah, and Kansas City actually. Not even the whole state! Google Fiber is fiber optic cable buried and ran straight to your home. This provides speeds 100x faster than average DSL modems. Downloading movies, pictures, games, the entirety of the internet, all the cat pictures, and even your own private island is all possible in a matter of seconds! Google plans to have fiber in very select cities, Portland, San Jose, Phoenix, Atalanta, and Nashville are the only other cities that are in the scope of fibers blessed coming.
4th Generation Intel Core i7
The latest to come out from Intel is the 4th generation core i7 processor. With significant preformances from its predecessor, this is the processor of the future generation of computing processes and gamer’s alike. This new piece of tech comes with intel’s Hyper-Threading design which allows separate cores to handle multiple processes at once creating greater multi-tasking capability’s. With a top GHZ’s of 4.4 when over clocked and 8 cores in your stable, this beast will take you to the next level!
How to Avoid Bottle-Necking Your Computer
What is Bottle-necking in a Technological sense? Bottle-necking is like a two two lane highway but suddenly one lane ends forcing the traffic to merge into the other causing the flow to slow way down. So how does this happen in computers? Imagine your Motherboard is one of three highway lanes, Computer processor is the second, and your Graphics card is the third. If just one of these components is lacking in quality or is just simply older than the rest it can cause bottle-necking. Like-wise if you have a cheaper low quality MotherBoard and CPU then throw in a four-hundred dollar Graphics card you will cause it to bottle-neck again. So how do you avoid this? Avoiding bottle-necks is quite the balancing act, you need to have good either high quality components across all hardware or mid ranged. It’s important to also know what kind of a system you want to build, Gaming, Working, Web browsing, Number crunching, all of these are important factors into what type of hardware will be required to build it efficiently and effective without bottle-necking your system.
Computer Languages: C++, Java, jQuery
Technology, on the side of computers, has always fascinated me from a young age. How all those components big and small worked together to create a sort of “life”. Of course none of this would be possible without the knowledge of computer language such as; Dos, C+, C++, Java, HTML and jQuery. I wanted to learn these languages and understand how computers communicate but I lacked the resource of someone to teach me.
